A masterpiece long gone bare
A light no longer shining through the night
What was once whole is now a part
The past is long since gone
And though it can’t be won
It’s forever locked within my heart
The house is dark, but the future near
Things aren’t always as planned
But the house where I used to stand
Will be remembered without the shed of a tear
